New Upgrades Coming to the 2020 Toyota Tacoma

Technology

Get ready for fun road trips and carpool karaoke sessions in your 2020 Toyota Tacoma. The truck’s improved multimedia system will feature a larger touchscreen, as well as Android Auto™, Apple CarPlay®, SiriusXM and Amazon Alexa compatibility.

Everyone will be able to sing along with the six-speaker sound system, even the driver using Handsfree Bluetooth® phone and music capability.  Premium Audio and a subwoofer amplifier are available on select models, but the smart technology upgrades don’t end with audio. Available premium features also include Qi wireless charging, Smart Key with push-button start, and an integrated backup camera display.

Comfort

Sometimes, you just want to unwind in your truck after a long day at work. In the 2020 Toyota Tacoma, it’s easier than ever before with standard enhanced door seals, a multi-layer acoustic windshield, sound-absorbing headliner, and a floor silencer pad to make your commutes even quieter. 

Available leather-trimmed upholstery, heated seats, power tilt/slide moonroof and dual-zone automatic climate control pair nicely with the cabin’s soft-wrapped trim and metallic accents to present a “high-quality ambience” that will be a real crowd pleaser.

Safety

Safety is a top priority in the Toyota Tacoma and all models come standard with Toyota Safety Sense P. The well-equipped safety suite comes with the Pre-Collision System and Pedestrian Detection, High-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alerts, and more.

“Along with standard TSS-P, the Toyota Tacoma also touts the Star Safety System, which includes Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRAC), an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), and Smart Stop brake override technology (SST).”

While a driver may not like to think about the possibility of a car accident while driving, Toyota implemented the necessary precautions to help protect everyone on board if it were to happen. If the 2020 Toyota Tacoma were to be involved in a rear-end collision, active head restraints are designed to move up and forward to help reduce the risk of whiplash.
