If you’re in the mood for a cheesesteak when you’re in the Sinking Spring area, you’re in luck. There are plenty of places to visit depending on what type you want. Here are several recommended places to go.

Brewer’s Bar and Grill

This restaurant and sports bar has over 18 different beers on tap, seasonal cocktails, and 300 types of bottles and cans. Even the pickiest of drinkers will find something that suits their taste. You’ll enjoy learning about the history of the brewery before and after the prohibition period, as memorabilia is found on the walls around the restaurant. This is also a great place to come to watch your favorite team play, as there are 31 TVs where you can watch numerous games.

Brewer’s Bar and Grill has a variety of cheesesteaks to choose from, such as the Buffalo Cheesesteak with bacon, blue cheese, and spicy sauce and the Santa Fe Steak with jalapenos, nacho cheese, and Swiss cheese. If you’re feeling healthy, they have several salad options to order like the Caesar salad and the Creole Shrimp salad.

You’ll also find specialty sandwiches like the Lousiana Shrimp Wrap, rice bowls like the Turkey Rice Bowl, and mash bowls such as the Shepherd’s Pie bowl. If you just want an appetizer with your beer, you can get anything from bacon cheese fries to pierogies.

The Steak Shack

If you want an authentic Philly cheesesteak, this is the place to go. They pride themselves on having steaks that are all bought locally. Every cheesesteak comes with your choice of cheese, including provolone, Swiss, American, or whiz. You can also order it “wit,” which means with fried onions, or “wittout,” meaning you won’t get fried onions. They have the regular Philly Steak as well as Mushroom Steak, Pizza Steak, and Pepper Steak, to name a few. Those trying to save carbs can also order a Steak Bowl to get all the fillings without the bread.

In addition to the regular cheesesteak sandwich, they have chicken sandwiches such as the Buffalo Chicken Shack and the Mediterranean Shack. The rolls are baked daily, which means they’ll always be fresh. If you’re not at all in the mood for a sandwich, you can get a New York pizza instead. Get a personal pizza to eat by yourself with numerous meat and veggie toppings or a large if you want to split it with friends.

Mama’s Pizza and Grill

If you have a hearty appetite, you’ll want to stop by Mama’s Pizza and Grill. You can order a gooey Philly cheesesteak with special sauce and fried onions, or get a BBQ or Ranch Chicken Cheesesteak to mix it up. They also have pasta, salads, paninis, and a few dozen appetizers to choose from. Make sure to check out their daily specials to save a few dollars.
